Thankfully, a handful of passionate and knowledgeable Christmas fanatics, have continued traditional methods of production, making decorations which closely resemble those made in Germany from 1880 to 1940, keeping the craft alive. Their inspiration is often more folklorish winter legends and less obviously Christian symbols.
